Anniversary Getaway

For our three year anniversary, we celebrated early because my parents were in town so they were able to watch June. Buck and I decided to go to a bed and breakfast inn, because we love those. We ended up choosing one that was originally an old farm house and it was in the middle of nowhere. It was perfect. There were a few rooms in the house but we were the only two staying that night so we had the entire house to ourselves! We had the only room upstairs anyways and it was perfect. I even got to take a milk bath in a claw foot tub! I feel like even though that was never a goal that I wrote down, that I still accomplished one by doing this.

We arrived at dusk and the whole setting was so enchanting that I want to move there. But maybe only in the summers...

For breakfast the hostess made us some yummy crepes. After that we explored a little more and then we were off to go horse back riding!

Interested in staying a night here? Click HERE. (We have no obligation to this Inn, we just really enjoyed our stay. :) Although, they should probably hire me as their photographer for some advertising.... I'm just saying.)

Oh I'm so jealous that place looks amazing! Your pictures are much nicer than what they have on their site. You should email them and give them the chance to buy them from you ;)

Awesome! I have never stayed in a bead and breakfast before, but it's on our to-do list. Love the tub. What exactly constitutes a milk bath? I have heard the term before...

Yep, they should hire you. So I have to whine...I feel so gypped about bed & breakfasts! I finally convinced Frank to try one out about 12 years ago and then the people next door had their television on all night long, loud, watching Independence Day. (That's how loud it was...we could tell what they were watching. And yes, they started it over again when it ended!) So guess what? I haven't been to a bed & breakfast since! Don't think I'll ever convince Frank to try it again. :(
