June and I have been going to the pool this month. June is more cautious than other kids and I'm okay with that. She just wants to stay around me and be safe. haha And anyway, we've gone with a couple different friends.
We went on another hike, this time with Emily and Elliot. It's a good thing that we went when we did because Emily ended up having her baby two weeks early! So this was our last ho-rah together as a foursome.
Buck worked from home one day and we talked him into a quick jaunt to the pool during his lunch break. June was braver with him around. Should that make me feel bad? Eh, whatever.
June is starting t say "ew" and "yucky" about things like bugs and dirt on her chair but yet she has no problem diving into the mud, rear first.
But I guess she has a problem with the after effects. She was happy to clean up. She's turning into such a girly girl!
June loves Abe. Loves him. She loves to play with him, put him "night night," feed him, sit on him, put the dish towel on his head and exclaim "hat!" and ... get in his crate with him.
She also loves to walk around the house in Buck's work boots.
We continue to play in the back yard every day.
We went to the aquarium with some of my old mission companions and that was fun. One of them was visiting from New York so it was exciting to see her again!
One day June and I went with Adrian and Elora to get ice cream in the 1800's.
And, as you can see from my previous blog post, my family was in town this past weekend. Aside from having a bridal shower we also went dress shopping. June was happy to have her grandma around to get suckers from, to snuggle with, and to lock in the dressing room.

The same day we had the bridal shower we also celebrated my grandpa's 80th birthday. Everyone came over and those family members who live in Texas, Massachusetts, and Maryland got on a google hang out and we all took turns telling stories about grandpa. It was cool!
Oh. And we have baby owls that come to our massive tree in our back yard every night! These photos are not the best but we just cared about seeing them!
This is how dark it really was, so we were aiming blindly with the camera. :)
And... that's a wrap for this time!

Hey! That's my family on the tv screen. :) I want that wedding dress on the far right in the picture...or maybe the one behind it. Cool about the baby owls. Love all the photos!
I LOVE Junes face with the dirty mud legs, her hair is so Dr Suess too. And what June does with the dog is so cute. Love the boot picture too. Good stuff my friend. Good stuff.
That photo of June in Buck's boots is beyond cute! Also, when did you get owls? Super cool!
