Happy Mother's Day!

This year I didn't make it to have a special post up on Mother's day like I usually do. But that's
because the Thursday before I was really sick and that day my sister got into town from DC and then the next day my parents came. But that's for another post.

And it's late and I want to get this one up so I wont try to get all poetic about what being a mom means to me. I figure you get enough of that already. All two of you readers.

So the actual day. I woke up to some surprises from the store Anthropology. Buck got a little frivolous this year (he gets in these spoiling moods, and who I am to stop him?) And I was really surprised- especially to see this dress!

And then these kitchen items as well!

So, um, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday- Happy Mother's day to me!

 Then my family came over for breakfast, plus my grandparents. Buck made us all homemade eggs Benedict and fresh orange-pineapple juice. Mmmmm

And this was my gift from June Bug (oh and the hanging terrariums also, says Buck)

Family photo time!

We had an amazing dinner made by my sister at my grandparents house. So there was that. And I made Buck give me a shoulder massage. And we took some more family photos, to be seen in another post.

And that was the day!

I should give an extra shout out to the moms. My mom really is the best. Every time someone says, "you are turning into your mother!" I smile and think that's the best compliment I could receive. My mom continues to do so much for me all the time, she even gave me gifts on Mother's day! I don't know how I got so lucky.

 I've said it before, and I'll say again and again, I have the BEST mother in law. I feel so blessed. Not every girl is this lucky. I think she's really starting to see just how crazy I am so I'm grateful that she still seems to love me. :)
