When we walked into that pen and saw that holy mother of all gigantic pigs we about fainted. SO. GROSS.
But baby pigs? SO CUTE.
What's cuter? June got to pet the pig and she loved them!
So we learned that the sow has to stay in between those two bar walls because if not she would roll over and kill the babies. What the? I guess that is why pigs have so many babies at once because in the wild a lot of them die so young! AND the craziest thing we learned was that if he kept feeding that momma pig- she would keep growing! She could be as big as a hippo if they let her!!!! WHAT THE DEVIL?! Freaked me out. Oh and right after they are born they have sharp pointed teeth that they cut so that they don't grow tusks that curl up. Sick.

We saw a big litter of baby pigs at the fair once. I think there were like 14 of them...and most of them were girls! We didn't get to hold them though.
So you mean the mama pig never gets to eat anymore because she will grow too big?
