I have been wanting to explore myself and my photos. I have been thinking, thinking, thinking lately about where I've come from to where I am today and onto where I want to go as a photographer. There are so many photographers out there and it's hard to find my place. I think it's important to be able to take those classic portraits that could be from any photographer- but I also think it's imperative to have some art that is all your own. Some photos that give themselves away as
mine. I'm still neck deep in my journey but here are some experiments with the sun. For anyone who cares.
See, I really like this first one but I'm not sure anyone else does.
You guys, I LOVE these next two but every time I show them to people, nobody really seems too impressed and I'm SO CONFUSED. But I feel happy when I take photos that express MY art, so I guess some times the photos are just for me to enjoy.
And then, you know, it's fine, it's just that my husband takes better photos than I do. ;)

beautiful
I really enjoy your photos Anna! I've been into photography since a class in highschool but never did anything about it. Keep it up! They are all great photos!
I love how you want to capture light in your photos. I just saw a movie about Thomas Kincaid and how he came to decide to capture light in his paintings and you see how the world loves his art. It was a spiritual journey for him as I am sure it is for you so keep up the good work.
I think your thing as s photographer is light!
For what it's worth, I really like the top of the two images :)
I like both of the ones you love. You captured the light so beautifully in those. Actually, most of them are really good. And Buck did a good job too...he does have a beautiful subject to work with so you know...that helps a lot! :)
