Thursday Buck woke up the morning of his 28th birthday to find Toy Story decorations. Because he loves Toy story. That day we spent going on a treasure hunt for his Birthday presents. It took us all over town. And required him to dig something up out of the yard.* He had his favorite foods all day. And I put candles in all his food that whole weekend. We also had a Toy Story movie marathon. That evening some family watched June and we got to get some sushi and spend some time together.
Then on Saturday night we had a party! We turned the Toy Story into Pizza Planet (from the movie) and thanks to my sister, Buck's sister, and Carrie, the party was off the hook. It was a glow-in-the-dark party. And it was awesome.
The photo booth:
Happy Birthday BUCK!
* For those of you who read the 11 interesting facts about Buck know all about his lost Ninja turtle from when he was a boy. (He buried it one day, regretted it immediately and tried to dig it up but it was nowhere to be found.) So I found one just like that, with and opening shell and everything, and buried it in the yard. It was a present from June and it said "Daddy- I can't wait for you to rediscover and dig up your childhood with me."

Killer paaaaarty!
Well, WE liked the party, even if "Readers" don't. ;)
Will you come out here for my next birthday and throw a party? Seriously, that is so awesome! Love all the different options for the etch a sketch photos. So creative!
And the buried present...what a great idea!
Awesome! First off, that first image is so darling! You do need to put your blog into printed books or make a gallery wall or something stat! Secondly, super fun party. I love that you put candles in all of the food, the photo booth and the buried gift.
