Leaping for Leap Year

I'd say February 29 is probably one of the more random days. I mean, why? Well, I know "why" but still, it's random. Which is why it deserves celebration, and a random one at that.

So I decided it was a brilliant idea to go and leap around at one of those massive trampoline play places. (admit it, it's brilliant) Sadly, Buck couldn't go because homework owns him these days, but thankfully I found a friend just as random as me to go with. (And you should check out her blog because she has the funniest stories. Especially this story and this story. You will not be disappointed.) Also, she has a baby girl just a month older than June.

The "Jump on It" place was awesome and now I want to go back. And here are some savage photos. You know how I roll.

 This was only one section of the place! I went jumping through here from trampoline to trampoline. I felt like an Avatar.

 June didn't know what to think about it all.

 There was a baby play place too. (not sure what germs were on those toys) and don't worry, no left hands were harmed in the taking of this photo. June DOES have a left hand/arm.

So after our leaping adventure I got home and I couldn't have Buck feeling too left out. So as part of dinner I made a treat... well, the original plan I had was to make a jello frog pond with leaping frogs. But once I got home I was tired and hungry and barely alive after driving home in a blizzard and so this is what happened instead. But good enough right?

I can't even imagine where life will have taken us by the time the next leap year rolls around.
