For a few summers we did a kid's service club in the neighborhood but then it stopped for a few summers now. I kept thinking of starting it back up and I finally did! We had our first service project at the animal sanctuary, now called Haven Ranch. It's where June has been volunteering every week for a few months now. Lots of moms signed up to bring their kids but when it came to it only us and my friend Katie and her kids came! But it was perfect. We got to help weed the green house and then feed the alpacas and goats the weeds! And as an added treat we got to hold a baby bunny. 💛
Johnny is sad about anything being hurt of dying. I though his tears over the dying mosquitoes was as low as it could go but nope. Turns out he's upset that we're ending the lives of the weeds.
