After saying good bye to Mandy and her family, we made our way west to get near the path of totality for the eclipse. We stayed the night in a small town and I got to find the famous blue bonnet flowers of Texas hill county!

When we got to our hotel, this middle of nowhere resort type place with a golf course, we stumbled upon a crawfish boil, which i was excited about because it's yet another Texan experience I had hoped to have.
That brussel sprout was so spicy it nearly burnt my lips off!
We had a cabin thing for the night.

There were some odd things about the place but over all it was a good day!
