Happy Birthday to me!

 It was my birthday! And I turned 38! CRAZY. My birthday was on a Sunday this year so I made sure to celebrate all week long leading up to it. ;) 

First up, lunch with dear friends! 

Then I went to a stained glass workshop and made this leaf! I got to cut the glass and sand it and sadder it and everything. It was cool! I went with my neighbor friend. 

I put patina on one side and not the other. 

Then I got to go roller skating with neighbors! It was a blast! And the rink had a themed night of "throw back Thursday" and the throw back songs they were playing were from my high school AND college days. GAH! haha

Then Buck took me to a restaurant that we'd never been to. And it was the best! It was like we were in an old country side English pub! It was a five course meal too and it was a whole experience. I loved it! 

Then the next day on Saturday we celebrated with the kids and went to the Leonardo museum and explored and then did the immersive art experience where they project the art on the walls. We did the impressionist era because it's my favorite. It was fun and the kids danced around the whole time. Good thing we had the place to ourselves. haha

There were arts and crafts there too and the kids were pumped. 

Then we went and got lunch at the cereal place! 

I ate 14 different kinds- all sugar cereal, and I felt so sick the rest of the night but WORTH IT. ;) 

On Sunday the kids and Buck decorated with pig stuff since recently I tried to talk Buck into getting a pet pig. He thought he was funny by giving me biscuits and gravy with sausage and bacon.... 

I also got kind gifts from friends and family, lots of texts and messages as well. It was so lovely and I'm grateful for all the love! 

It was the best week filled with new experiences and getting to be with people I love! Can't believe I've only got two years left in my 30s!
