While in Ethiopia, I asked about the tribes that live in the country. And one thing lead to another and long story short... we ended up taking a spontaneous trip down south to visit a tribe! We had to take an hour flight and it was all very exciting.
We landed in the small town of Jinka and the airport was the best.
Our friend (who was also our driver in Addis and the guest house owner) also came with us. He had a friend who worked as a driver and guide in Jinka so he got it all set up for us.
We didn't, however, have a place to stay yet so we went and saw a couple places and decided to stay at the Eco Lodge that was in the middle of a village. It was rustic and lovely and we were the only guests there.
There was a little restaurant on site too.
Then our driver, Neba, took us to a small museum. It gave lots of information about the 15 different tribes that live in the Omo valley. It was really informational and interesting!
Then we went into a market to get some shawls.

The next day another guide, Tofa, took us to another market. It's only one day a week and it's huge and everyone from all nearby towns and villages come to it. It was wild! It had also just rained so much so it was really muddy.
