I almost gave up going this year since it's been the wintery-est spring ever and there are no tulips but then the kids had a random day off of school so we decided to keep tradition and go! We went with some friends and it ended up being nice weather and hey, there were even SOME tulips. ;) But it's okay because we've seen the gardens in full bloom many times. It was still a great day.
And we left just in time! All the sudden a big thunder storm blew in and we drove home in hail and lightening.
