We got to check a big hike off our family list- hiking to Timpanogos cave! Tickets go fast for the weekend time slots so I kept a careful eye and snagged them up! We got to go with our neighbors, the Bramhalls, as well. The hike is about 4 miles total and it's steep uphill and back down. The cave itself is cold and dark and about an hour is spent touring through it. The kids all did so good! Even Johnny, he only got tired and asked for a shoulder ride on the way back down. The kids all thought the cave was super cool. And Hazel faced her fear of heights and felt really proud about that. I was proud of everyone. :)
Into the cave!

I'm proud of you guys too! ha! Those narrow parts of the cave make me anxious!
That last comment was from me, in case you were wondering.
Frank and I did that hike back in our newlywed days. I was surprised how steep the hike was, but the cave was really cool and the views from the trail were amazing, so it was worth the climb. Good job to all of you...especially your kiddos...for making it!
We still need to take our kids to do this. Aaron has been a bunch of times as a youth and with YM, but I haven't ever done it. Glad to see it was doable with younger kids.
