Lately- January

January was long, it always is.

This new year and new month we also started off with a bang. We all got covid. Which really wasn't very bad, thankfully, for us. But still, that lead to a week in quarantine. Meanwhile both of our cars broke down and had to be fixed and so did our water heater. Makes one nervous about the upcoming year when it starts out like that! haha

That means there were a few days of naps and movies.

But beyond that, everyone was fine but still stuck at home. So there was baking,

Strange art exhibits being created and discovered all over the house,

A spa day,
Movies nights,

And even some outside time because it was very sunny.

But then we were free and life was good. I got to go to ice cream with my good friend for her birthday and we checked our fates with some tarot cards. 😆

It was also a month of a lot of tea parties.

I don't even know what's happening in this photo but I felt it needed a place here.

A couple dates- one to a movie,
And another to the temple and then out to lunch.

Went and got pedicures for another dear friend's birthday.

She was proud of her creation and wanted it documented. Rightly so!

Hazel lost three teeth! This was the first one.

One day there will be a cute book made about Rose and Bleu because they are so cute together.

Then one of those Monday holiday things happened and so we went to the Butterfly museum as a family and with Buck's sister''s family.

Took the little rascals to the library.

Rose and Johnny also started swimming lessons for the first time!

Hazel continues art classes too!

Proud builders.

100 days of school. And yes Hazel wore this all day!

Trying to do some stretches with a nice weight.

Dinosaur museum with some friends!

And then a Costco run together!

Dinner out with friends!

Did you miss all my cat photos? Here's one of Luna contemplating her life.

And here I am with a lot of spilled ice cream mix. Fun times.

And lastly, what seems to be a tradition at this point, some photos of the pretty views I get to see!

For a month that started out so rough, it turned out to be pretty great in the end. Thanks January. You're not always great but this one wasn't so bad. ;)
