Happy Birthday Winta! 

 You are a true light in our life. You radiate that light and all can feel it. Your spirit is full to the brim of this goodness and we feel blessed everyday to feel it.

You are incredibly wise, mature, and resilient. You've got what we call "an old soul." The way you look at the world is so incredibly whole. I always enjoy our conversations about life!

You've also got a nice healthy dose of silliness. You laugh SO HARD at dumb videos and funny movies. You hide around corners and scare me haha. At nights you walk in from work jokingly like an old bowlegged cowboy just to make me laugh. You chase the kids around and play hide in seek. We laugh so much at funny photos of each other.

You're also super social and everyone loves you. You have a way of connecting with everyone and you show each person so much love through your words, hugs, and attention. I can't even count how many best friends you have!

You're a freaking hard worker too. You've helped out so much around the house and in the yard. You ask to take on projects and you work hard till it's done. Your managers at your job also see this and everyone loves you and is amazed by you and your strong work ethic. You also work really hard at school and have straight A's!

You're strong in every way. Especially you're spirit. Of course you have your hard days and sad days but you allow yourself to feel them but you work through it. You've gone through so much and yet here you are, so full of light.

 

I honestly feel so humbled and honored that you call me "mom." And you mean it. You've come into our family and here you'll remain forever and ever, a permanent place in our hearts and home. It feels like we've always known you, somehow.

So happy birthday, wonderful Winta! We love you so very much!

And dyed and hunted for Easter eggs

Went to the Tulip Festival

Held a butterfly

Visited Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana

Went swimming

Took swimming lessons

Rode a horse

Watched base jumpers

Stayed in a cabin

Went boating- A LOT

Went tubing on the boat

Drove a jet ski

Went to famous Yellowstone National Park

Took Art classes

Went to High school

Saw fireworks

Held a sparkler

Went to an amusement park

Rode an upside down roller coaster

Went hiking

Helped catch a mouse

Went to a protest

Went to a sunflower farm

Went raspberry picking

Saw the leaves change

Roasted marshmallows

Got a bike

Got a job

Avoided Halloween

Stayed in a hotel

Ate turkey

Went to the ER

Swam in hot springs

Fed elk

Went on a sleigh ride

Took birthday photos in the freezing cold ;)
