Lately- October

To start out this month's photo purge, a flash back comparison photo. I didn't even take these o purpose to match but I was going through some old photos and realzied that I had these.

First, Johnny at the raspberry patch
Girls at the pumpkin patch

A very fun thing that happened this month was that my neighbor and I took our other neighbor out for her birthday as a surprise. We kidnapped her ad surprised her with pumpkin cider in wine glasses in the car, decorated for fall because she loves her fall birthday so much.

And then we took her to an art museum because she loves art and history.

And then we went out for Mexican food! And we got this massive banana daquiri haha
It was such a perfect and fun night!

Hazel's soccer season ended in October. She really loved it and is excited for the spring session.

When we had warmer days, we took many walks down to the lake. It was so nice to be in the sun and near the water. Here are some photos from a few different times.

So many things in nature fascinate me! Like these milkweed plants. Johnny and I examined them for probably half and hour haha!

These clouds looked like a rib cage, spine and pelvis bone. Can you see it?

Meanwhile, back at home, I try and sit in any sun spot that I can!

I always love getting these photos when I'm away.

Sometimes at the gas pump, the numbers just look really pretty and perfect.

I was losing my ever living mind over the AMAZING colors of these leaves!!!!1 It never gets old!!! Too bad fall was so short this year. :(

She's taken to hiding in my covers and sleeping in my bed.

Making Halloween sugar cookies! Don't worry, we also made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies as well. ;)

 We grew these by accident!

Three's a crowd!

PRETTY SUN SET

Temple date!

Hazel and Rose started a new tumbling class! So far they are loving it.

Hanging out at the library and checking out way too many books.

A couple little shopping dates, first with Rose.
And then with Hazel! I love having some company on my errands. Just maybe only one kid at a time... ;)

Pop's birthday!

So, it snowed a couple times this month. I mean it melted and stuff but it's been a very cold end of the month and I am not very thrilled about it...

We went on a group date with our neighbors. They talked me into going to a haunted house... I hate haunted houses but it was funny to see my friends scream. That makes me sound like a psycho but... anyway, I'm not and I'll probably never go to one again unless it's like a kids spook alley haha

The girls got to go with friends to Gardner Village's Witch fest and they had a great time!

Hogwarts night at the elementary school. Here we are with magical creatures.

And then the snake got twisted up in my backpack and took about five minutes to get untangled.

Kindergarten Halloween program. Let it also be known that I helped out at Hazel's Halloween party.

Neighborhood trunk or treat and all I got was this one photo of this rad trunk. Girls had fun. It was cold.

I was happy with the treats we passed out for Halloween!  We did these and glow sticks.

Buck took the girls to see the new Addam's family movie. They are trying to pose like Wednesday.

Lastly, pumpkins!

Are you also, like me, wondering how we are functioning with so much happening all of the time? It's fine.
Onward and upward to the holidays!

So much to comment on. First of all I love the leaves. Those are totally amazing colors and shapes. And yes I totally saw the ribs and spine in that cloud picture. And why is Hazel topless when you’re making cookies? Ha ha.Also, that milkweed is amazing especially when you pulled it out of the shell. And I love those pumpkins that just volunteered in your yard. Surprises like that are amazing. And finally, the snake. He got tangled up in your backpack? Now that I would like to have seen. So many more fun things. Again thanks for sharing.

We accidentally grew a pumpkin this year too!! (Only one, though.) It's a really nice big pumpkin, too. I also don't like haunted houses. Count me out!

I am super way behind reading your blog, so I just decided to start again where you're at now. Maybe I will go back and catch up someday. I've missed you!
