Minty Rose

Our little Rosie Posie is nearly ten months old, which is outrageous. And I clearly took these photos back when it was WARM outside and glorious (today it rains and snows in the mountains. *tear.)
So let's take a brief look back on a sunny day and talk about our Clementine Rose.

At nine months she now crawls like a champ, can stand on her own without holding onto anything and has take a few steps here and there on her own as well!

She only has one tiny tooth that has poked through the bottom but she hasn't let that stop her from gumming lots of different foods.

There's been too much growing up. While breastfeeding this time around my body has had a hard time keeping up milk supply but over all we've maintained it. But recently, since she started gobbling up food, it really suffered to keep up and before we knew it, my milk had dried up. 😥 The last time she ever nursed was a Monday morning. June and Hazel were jumping around on the couch I sat on and Rose only drank for probably 23 seconds and that was that.

I've enjoyed breastfeeding the most this third time around. (With June, it was "okay" but great to be done. With Hazel it was nice, but okay to be done. With Rose I actually loved it and wanted to keep going!) It ended a few months earlier than I had hoped for. But what can you do? I'm just grateful for the time we had!

Rose has been such a calm, sweet baby. But this past month or so she's been a bit more demanding as she watches how quickly us and her sisters move around from room to room and she feels instantly left out- And she lets us know it! When she's mad she cries and does an incredible little tongue trill on repeat. (she'll make a great Spanish speaker one day!)

Little Minty Rose; Lemon Rose? (gotta try out all the possible nicknames for "Clementine.")
Little Rose Bud- We love you and your fierce curiosity, calm spirit, ability to sleep through the night, easy going nature, and above all- all those nuzzles and kisses. 💖
