McCall, Idaho- Part I, "That Cabin Life"

Hi!

Last week we started summer out right and went up to the mountains of McCall Idaho with my family. We stayed in a cabin for a few nights and everything about it was wonderful. (okay okay, so maybe if it was warmer outside then everything would have been wonderful.) ;)

But, to start, the windows and the views were a-okay!

Even though it was a bit cloudy and chilly a lot of the times, it actually wasn't as bad as I feared. We just wore comfy sweatshirts and all was right with the world. The fireplace also didn't hurt.

There was a lot of cozy hanging out and free play time.

There was lots of nature-enjoying to be had.

I gave June my old SLR camera and Hazel my old point and shoot one for the week. They LOVED taking photos and spent a lot of time doing that, which made my photographer mom heart soar. (There will be a separate post of their awesome photos.)

There was some glorious afternoon hot tubbing.

And many, many games played. (Buck's dream come true.)

There was even a dance party in the last strands of the evening sun

And best of all, lazy mornings and cuddles.

Thank you, dear cabin, and Idaho, for your wilderness therapy and tall pine trees. For your cleansing air, your trickling waters, and your winding dirt roads.
