Lately- Drowsy December

Well, aside from, you know, adjusting to a new baby, I guess there were other things that happened last month. You will see a lot of selfies with baby Rose. You will also see many photos of my mom visiting and being awesome. She came from Idaho for a whole week and took care of us. She made us dinners, took the girls out on adventures and played with them at home. She went shopping for me, made Christmas gift crafts with the girls, and took June to and from school.  She even got us some new butter knives because apparently we don't have enough and she also got us new drawers for our fridge since the others were broken.

We were also completely spoiled with other wonderful family members and friends! So many dinners and gifts. Buck's dad came and held Rose all night one time so that we could sleep, his mom took a day off work to be with the girls while we were in the hospital. Friends came and got the girls out of the house. Others helped with taking June to school. Visits from friends, diapers as gifts. The list goes on and on and I couldn't believe how fortunate we were to be surrounded by so many good people. I became completely silent for like a whole day because I was in awe at how kind so many people were and I learned so much about how I can become a better person like all of them. So to any of you reading this who helped, you know who you are, THANK YOU a million times over!

So to start this month photo purge, here's one that represents the majority of our time:
And now to the random: Apparently ordering four bread bowls with online groceries leads to instead getting four BAGS of bread bowls. Bread bowls for dayzzzzz.
Yummy gift from Buck's co workers.

I just really like how June added stripes to all of the tiger's legs. Also, she discovered that she could spell her name two ways and it still sounds right so she keeps doing that.

My aunt and uncle took the girls to the library craft time and then out to eat! It was so nice!

Buck did everything for me while I healed and nursed a baby. Like vacuumed. So sexy.

Buck took Hazel on a date to mini golf and arcade and during that time June talked me into making a rocket ship-fort. We had the star light in there and everything. And she also insisted on roasting tiny marshmallows over the gas stove.
I instructed Buck to take photos on his date but I guess he was having too much fun to do that so he took this one of her with her sucker once they got home.
Then Buck took June on a date the next night and she also wanted to go mini golfing so they went to the same place. He, once again, forgot to take any photos so an after party photo it was again!

This meme really speaks to my soul.

And this:

I made a little comparison photo of my lake spot. One mid day photo I took a couple years ago and one sunrise photo from November. Now I just need a sunset one. I'm such an exciting person, I know.

Cuddles with my middle child
And my cat!

Nutella mustache

Grandma snuggles. And a baby Rose that looks like she is going to roll off.

Introducing the Christmas lights.

And the wrap. She's so freaking cute.

June got to make this treat at school and she was proud, (despite her unsure face in this photo...) but mostly just excited to eat it.

Making cupcakes with grandma! And Hazel's amazing hair! haha

Baby's first movie theater experience. We made sure it was a good movie. :) (and a loud one...oops)

Meanwhile the girls got spoiled and went to see the nutcracker ballet with BOTH of their grandmas!

Cute letter and crafts from her pen pal!

A white hot chocolate "tea" party with grandma!

Aaaand, more of this

Good old snap chat filters can turn any boring moment into a party.  And any boring person into a reindeer...

I guess I like to take photos of Rose in the wrap. She just looks so tiny and cute and I want to remember it forever!

Neither June nor Hazel took a pacifier but Rose seems to like it so we got her this one and it's the size of her face.

I title this photo: "Desperate to nap despite the 'Hazel blanket'"

June's school Christmas program.

Oh. Here I am again, holding a cute baby.

And how do we survive the first month with a baby? The iPads!

Cousins born exactly one month apart!

Visiting their great grandparents for Christmas!

I don't know, I think I just wanted to remember her crazy bed head.

Bed time stories with grandma. And okay, looking back now I really should have put all the grandma photos together in one spot. She was here for a week, not the whole month.

A dear Armenian friend made this for me!

And what better way to end this than with one last Rose snuggle? (and a stray broom!) I'd say that sums up the month.

I am sorry we have done nothing to help you!! Living across the country is the worst sometimes. I love the memes, especially the winter one. It definitely speaks to my heart and soul as well! That baby wrap looks so awesome...I would have really loved having one of those when my babies were little. She DOES look so tiny in it; I can understand why you keep taking pictures of her in the wrap!

Rose with the binky had me laughing! She is just so cute. Keep the photos and snuggling selfies coming! I swear she looks so much like June as a baby!
