Having a new baby has caused us to obviously slow down this normally busy season. Which has been fine with me! The craziness of Christmas kind of gives me anxiety so this has been a welcome pace. I'm glad we have started little traditions that don't involve too much. Ones that have been easy to do at home, like trimming the tree. Another one is making gingerbread men! This year I also got some easy house decorating pre-made kit thing that was a hit with the girls.
We used a bunch of Halloween candy to get rid of it! In hindsight I don't know why I sacrificed the starburst since I actually like that candy.... ha

The gingerbread house looks awesome! I should get one of those kits sometime. I also liked the "grumpy" gingerbread boy; so funny! I like starbursts and I like those fruit flavored tootsie roll things too. Actually, I pretty much like almost ALL kinds of candy!
So smart to use your extra Halloween candy. We still have so much!

Looks like fun. Anything to do with gingerbread is a worthy Christmas tradition.
