Last week we headed up the canyon again with some friends.
We kept things simple, no hikes, just the river and some rock throwing.
And then I had plans for a simple fire, but apparently we are not boy scouts so we only managed some tiny flames. But hey, the kids thought it was legit so that's all that matters right?
And besides, I only had tiny marshmallows.

You are lucky to have a beautiful canyon so close by. Guess you better buy a bigger bag of big marshmallows next time you're at Costco to match that big bag of taffy so you will be better prepared for your marshmallow roast the next time :-)
We miss the mountains!
June's braid is excellent! And while you're buy bigger marshmallows, June may need some bigger pants. Also, I think I've gained a much better appreciation of the beauty in the mountains from your photos!
