The last day we spent at the parks we ended up hopping between the two of them. It was a great way to end our time there. And to start that ending off we had a princess breakfast experience!

This is how you could find June on down times- waiting to see if she could find another princess!
And she got to meet all of them- expect there was no Cinderella! ha- of course.
They loved her and gave her lots of time
On this day we discovered that June has a shoe fetish. She told every princess, "I need to see your shoes," and they were kind enough to comply. Watch out- this girl is going to need a large closet for her shoes one day.
They even taught her how to spin like a princess
It was a magical time for this rascal.
Then we spent some time in California Adventure park. We watched the Aladdin stage show and it was Hazel's favorite! She sat there the whole hour watching the entire thing! She's crazy! She even laughed when the Genie was making jokes- what is she five years old already?!
Then we went to Disneyland and waiting in line so that June could finally meet her favorite Princess, Cinderella.

She ran right up to her, now that she knows the drill, she knew they were besties already. Dream come true!

More treats...
We didn't stay as late but instead went and packed up and drove to a resort on the beach so that we could spend our last day there, relaxing.
We got June a souvenir because, I mean, she deserves a present for going to Disneyland, right?
So. Disney week recap: Before we left Buck and I were actually pretty nervous, mostly to take Hazel. We kind of prepared for the worst of having a screaming baby all week. I don't know why we were so doom and gloom about it (don't get me wrong, we were excited also! Babies just make anticipation confusing.) And anyway, the whole thing was great! I felt rejuvenated getting away from home and it was fun to be with family. June loved every minute and didn't have any major tantrums, and Hazel! She did great- slept well, ate well, even seemed to enjoy it despite being four months old.
We were sad to leave family and the break from work. We will always look back and remember this time with the best of memories.
And now I feel like I could make a whole blog post on tips for Disney with babies and toddlers. And how to photograph it all. Let's talk if you want to know!

Oh the princess shoes, so funny. Where did you take that last picture? That was fun. And I have to agree with you in that I had some anticipation about taking a four month old to Disneyland as well and I know it was exhausting for you having to nurse her in all kinds of places but I thought Hazel and you did amazingly well. And, we can't forget Buck who still had to do a lot of baby holding while standing up. I wish I got to go to another Disney park again this year like you will. You will have so much fun.
I'm glad you wrote that last line because I'm very interested in your thoughts on doing Disney with a baby and toddler...like..would you ever take a nursing baby again? did June stay close with you? (I think Charlie would see something shiny and run off) DO you feel like June got a lot out of it even though she is still pretty young? I have been wanting to go back a lot recently but I keep thinking I will want to wait until my kids are a little older. I love all your photos and I'm amazed with your nursing anywhere and everywhere abilities. I Love that we were able to go to Disneyland with you 4 years ago.
