I want advenutre in the great wide somewhere

I'm not completely sure what came over me Monday morning.

Maybe I got tired of hearing about different people moving to Hawaii. Seriously, four people I know.

Perhaps I couldn't take watching Buck walk out the door every morning. All he has to do is grab his bag and simply walk outside into the sunny day. He gets into a quiet car and drives. Everyday. Like it's nothing.

I suppose I was done seeing everyone's pictures of themselves in warm locations.

I guess I got antsy. Not in a "my life is horrible" sort of way, because it obviously isn't, but in a "I can't sit around or I'll go crazy!" sort of way.

So June, Hazel, and I got in the car, kidnapped my friend Tanya and her son Rio and we started driving south not knowing where to go.

We took an exit after seeing an appealing billboard, got lost on back country roads and then finally ended up at "the princess castle!" as June called it (or the Radha Krishna Temple.)

We explored, we ate lunch, the kids played, Tanya accidentally broke a feather off a peacock, and we ran into the people and host who do the show Story Trek. It was an adventure success. We even stopped at the park on the way home and chowed down on cake all together.

Looks like I'll be needing to take more impulsive trips with no plans.

You are the best! I'm definitely feeling the "I can't sit around here anymore" feeling. The highlight of my day was taking Miles to the doctor for a checkup. These pictures are awesome and make me really excited to go have adventures with my boys!

So you ran into the "Story Trek" people and they didn't even ask for your story. Have you ever watch that show? I haven't watched all of their shows but I have watch some and I kind of like it. Those unplanned days can sometimes be the best alright.

Honestly, Anna, how do you FIND all these places?! I lived in Utah for 17 years and I never knew any of these cool places existed. Great adventure!
