Live and Learn

Sometimes there are certain activities that seem like a good idea.

Until, that is, they become a BAD idea.
I mean, I turn my back for 30 seconds to peel a potato and BOOM- turn back around and suddenly June has decided her skin is better than paper and that it was time to pour the disgusting paint filled water cup all over the paint tray and table.

Live and learn people.
Live. And. Learn.

So I can understand the transition from painting on the paper to paintings on her body when she has no other clothes on but a diaper, but I don't know what could have prompted pouring water all over the paint and table. Oh the minds of children.

haha! She even decorated her diaper.

That last picture is so full of regret.

Ha ha ha, full of regret ;) This activity goes on the last of things you'll only do if you know you will have the energy to clean it! ;)

The first time I did this with my daughter she painted herself - and then drank the entire cup of paint water. At least there was less of a mess.

Well she's the cutest canvas I've ever seen. ;-) But seriously... what goes through their minds?!?!

Whoops...could have warned you about that one! I learned the same lesson when Scott was about June's age. Never, never turn your back on a toddler (young child) with paints...even for a few seconds! I have a great picture of Scott that I'll have to show you sometime. It's not digital, though, so I need to scan it first!
