For our date night Buck surprised me and took me to see the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit at a museum down town Salt Lake City. This particular exhibit travels around so we were glad to see it. They have built all the machines and contraptions that Da Vinci designed. Amazing! They also had a ton of his art (not the originals) and a whole thing on the Mona Lisa. Da Vinci is someone I hope to meet in heaven one day. (also, I guess that I will have to wait until heaven to be reunited with poor, poor, Da Vinci, our tortoise... :( still can't find him and it's cold out now...!)
*ahem.
We weren't allowed to take photos in the exhibit but I snuck some in the mirror room.
Afterwards we went through the rest of the regular museum. We didn't have a lot of time but it was interesting.
Also, this shows us how much water a day one American uses verses someone in a third world country- crazy!

That sounds so fun! How do you find these things?
This looks pretty epic! Wonder if they come to dreary Tucson :)
Awesome picture of you and Buck kissing, from all angles at once. :) And if I had to haul all of the water I used from a well on the other side of the village (or farther), I'm sure I'd use a lot less water than I do! We are fortunate!
Wow. That car picture looks soooo realistic. :P Haha!!
so cool! and fun!
