Who knew that stop signs provided such great advice and wisdom? Well here in American Fork Utah, our stop signs have something to say to us.
First up:

That's right folks. You can't stop the cavemen. Especially on Caveman Blvd.

For some reason road signs are hard to photograph well. There's a place on the boundary between Orem and Lindon (or at least, there used to be) where a street sign on one side of the intersection says 200 East and on the other side a sign says 200 West. I always wanted to get a picture that I could caption "East is east and west is west and ... oh, never mind." Maybe it's not too surprising that I could never get a picture where both signs were legible, but I was surprised at how hard it was to get one with even one sign that could be easily read. Then after I moved out here I found a place (I think in Billerica) where the street sign said East Street, but right underneath was a sign that said Previously North Road. With the signs right next to each other I thought that one would be easy, but I still didn't get a very good picture.
hey there is another one in AF that says STOP eating squirrels! That one always makes me laugh!
I think one reason signs are hard to photograph is because of the reflective material that is on them. Makes them easy to see with headlights, but hard to photograph!
