I'm Back!

I wanted to write a post recapping the last year, because, well, it was WILD. The most random year yet I'd say, with lots of news to wrap up in. But right now it's been so long since we all spoke so I will recap where I've been and why.

Basically December was fast and strange. I did my time at HoneyBaked Ham and now I am done.

Christmas Eve and Christmas day were kind of crazy but sweet. Buck and I got to spend Christmas eve with his family. The next afternoon we were flying to FLORIDA with my family but our flight was canceled and then changed to 7:00 a.m. Christmas morning instead. And we found this out at 9:00 p.m.
the night before. So we had a tornado opening of presents with Buck's family and then raged home to have our "Christmas morning" and Christmas Eve together. Many things were cut out but we still managed to started some new traditions. We put all our new presents in a box and went to bed for a few hours and then trekked to the airport.

Then we went to Florida where we spent, like, ten days playing at Disneyworld and Harry Potter world in Universal Studios. Except, on that day- it was as cold as Utah, with humidity- and we were out in it with a billion other crazy people. Sick. But it was still fun and Harry Potter world was still AMAZING.

But don't you worry, while the clouds threw up massive amounts of snow on Utah, it warmed up in Florida. Most people took off their coats. I, on the other hand, was a little traumatized and was scared to take off the layers but still, it was warm. And I was happy. And so was Buck since he only brought a jacket...

A big shout out and a LARGE thank you to both of our families. Thanks for the amazing and thoughtful gifts! Thanks for looking after our apartment, pets, and refrigerator while we were gone.
