Memorial Weekend

Memorial day weekend actually started out with the last day of school. 

Our neighbor Bryce was there in his wig and music speaker and truck, as per tradition. 

Last day of elementary school for Hazel!

It was a weird day though because after that I had to go work at some graduation ceremonies doing photography and I hated being gone but also, we need the money so I went. Thankfully the kids did get to hang out with some friends. 

But if I'm being honest, the vibes were low. Hazel and Rose were sad about school ending. I was gone. Hazel ended up coming home, overwhelmed with all the girls in the group, and it was a strange day. 

Then the next day I went with some friends on a shopping field trip. Buck went with the kids to his parents house for the day and they had fun. I felt bad not being with the family though. 

But I did get this trout hair clip. 

Monday was memorial day and we ended up going to visit Haben and kids and we took Alonab to a park and then got this fun Mexican ice cream. It was fun but some kids were feeling a bit down. 

That night the kids got invited over for a summer outdoor movie at the neighbors so that was fun. 

But it was a bit a werid weekend. People were off. the vibes were low and the weather was perfect and I found out my family was in a small mountain Idaho town having the best weekend and I really wish we had gotten away from it all together instead. But also, grateful for the good times we did have! 

I ended the weekend with a nice walk with Millie.
