Kid Dates

It took a few months, but we finally got in four dates, each with our kids who still live at home.

First up was June's date. She wanted to go get sushi at a restaurant and then play games at the arcade. We had a great time! And we earned a ton of tickets and she could have actually picked out some cool prizes but instead, in true June fashion, she used them to get a massive tennis ball and about 200 tootsie rolls.

For Hazel's date there was a Harry Potter event nearby put on by a company called "Taste off" where they have treats from different local vendors and you get to eat them and vote on your favorites. This is their biggest event of the year so they go all out with decorations and everything!

The treats were: a cauldron cake (doughnut) a butter beer cookie, a pumpkin pasty, Griffindor cheesecake, sorting hat cinnamon roll and a snitch-er-doodle cookie.  They were all good!

For Johnny's date he really wanted to go bowling, so that's what we did! He loved it so much! We ordered food there and had the best time.

And for Rose's date we took her to Color Me Mine, where you can pick out an item to paint and then they glaze and fire it and you pick it up a few days later. She picked out the biggest thing there I think... a unicorn piggy bank. Buck and I did bowls because those were the cheapest. haha Afterwards we went and got pizza and caramel apples!

Now we just need to get Winta and Haben out. But they are harder since they don't live at home anymore! I'll have to make another post when we get those!
