Lately- May

I probably should have made some of these into separate posts but here they all are, lumped into one.Not sure anyone reads my blog really anymore anyway so yeah. 😜

We started out the month with some exploring near our home.

We went with Rose on her preschool field trip to the good old animal farm

Still the baby.

Some snipits of mother's day

I went on a little hike with some friends and then we had a bon fire!

I had a karaoke night first with the kids and then a late night one with friends.

Hazel made this incredible lemon at her art class!

I took some girls to see a play- this time we saw Annie!

The cats continued to be weird

I took the littles to play in the sand and they also ended up in the lake.

I had my first event with my non profit! We took senior photos for a few graduating girls that live in a shelter.

We went to see my nieces' dance recital

And then we had a big family dinner to celebrate Winta and Haben ending their time in high school. They were not here long enough to have enough credits to graduate at this time but they still worked so hard and deserved to celebrate that and the end of another chapter.

Rose had a cute little end of preschool ceremony. Even though she has another year left haha

Then school ended for June and Hazel and it was one party after another!

First up, neighborhood foam party!

Then they went to an ice cream party that I don't have any photos of and then that night there was an outdoor movie party!

Then the next day we went to a barbecue party for Buck's work. It was in a magical backyard.

The next day they got to go to a water party too!

We ended the month with Memorial day but I think I'll make a separate post for those celebrations. Over all, as always, we were very blessed during this month, even if the weather was bipolar. ;)

I LOVE that you did those photos for your non-profit. I can’t even imagine being a teenager in a shelter and feeling so invisible and not getting to partake in anything everybody else takes for granted. This, this right here is making me cry. Like a creeper weirdo in my kitchen.

What a fun month! The annual foam party, riding horses, all the happy outside time! And that lemon is seriously impressive! Go Hazel!
