What does a whole month of quarantine look like?
Some April Fool's day pranks I did on the kids:
Trying to watch General Conference...
Dress up challange
Rose was in her splint most of the month for her broken leg.
My sister and her family sent her a special package of "broken leg" cookies.
We figured out somethings that she could do,
But mostly she was confined to the couch!
She still managed to cause plenty of messes, though.
But then, towards the end of the month, she got to get the splint off! She continues to limp and had to relearn to walk a bit but over all a miracle considering if you're an adult and you break your femur, you're in a cast for at least six months! Being young has its perks!
I took Haben to see some blooming trees because she was so fascinated by them all.
Buck's quarantine life
He built a fire pit in our yard!
And we had a date night out there one night.
Buck also planned another date night for us where the challenge was to paint half of each other's faces, haha. I'm not a painter so I went with a theme of "I'm more of a writer" and made mine like a notebook paper with words. Buck did a moon and stained glass one. I like him a lot.
I thought the reflection out the window on this painting was neat.
Hazel and June think their life is over when it comes to chores.
All my flowers from Easter! I just love seeing them all bunched together. So many natural colors!

And later on she had this sent to us!
And then my sister sent this to me! I am so spoiled!

That's great that Rose doesn't need her splint anymore! When Tanner broke his leg, he was in a cast all summer. :( I love all the flowering trees...they were beautiful here, too! Johnny is adorable! (Well, all of your kids are.) Hopefully we'll be done with this quarantine nonsense soon!
Yay for no splint! And Johnny is getting SO big!! Where does the time go? Also, that fire pit is awesome!

And I do have to admit that My Easter box packing was a work of art. 😉Come to think of it, I’m also good at cardboard packing into recycle bins as well.
I love your mom's comment! How is Rose walking now? Is the limp gone? She seemed to be in a pretty good mood, at least in the photos. I loved your date night paintings, what an awesome idea, GO Buck! Also, I love that you and Haben went on a hunt for blooming trees. Such a fun activity for you two to share!
