And then she was three.
And to celebrate Rose wanted an Elsa party. By the looks of how many balloons I stuffed into my car I worried that I had gone over board but there is no such thing for a cute little three year old, right?
We had family staying with us that week so that made it extra special too. She got to open presents twice, have her coffee cake, play, then have her actual cake, which she was the most excited about. She's been talking about it every day for a good month, "Jade is going to make my Elsa cake!" And her aunt Jade did just that, and of course it was amazing!
You already know the caption that goes with this....
Another dress up gift she had to wear the other half of the day.
Then we all went to the theater and saw the new Frozen movie with all the candy and popcorn spoils.
Mom guilt is weird. I felt all bad that maybe I didn't do enough, or decorate enough. What will she think one day when she learns that Hazel had an actual live mermaid at her third birthday party?! But whatever, right? I mean she'll have more epic parties and her siblings will have more chill ones and it all evens out. And BESIDES, what we did for Rosie this year was still very exciting for her. Why am I even taking the time to write about this? Because-
HEY-
Future grown up Rose: just know that I know you're a middle kid and all and I am trying so hard to make sure you all feel equal love. I love you all! So I hope you had a happy birthday and we loved celebrating you!

So happy I got to be there. I didn’t know the gift that Rose was opening from me and grandpa was so funny😉.
