A couple weeks ago it was our one and only niece's first birthday! So of course we made the trip for her birthday party. It was a quick weekend there and we always wish we could stay longer, but we had fun and we are happy we were able to go. And I got to take Ginny's birthday photos. And we bought a new car.... so there's that.
The drive there provided some bipolar weather. First it was this:

Then a mega storm of doom!
Ending with some nice pit stops for the potty in the middle of nowhere
So we were leasing our other car and it was about up and we had gotten it in Boise we we figured, hey, while we're there lets buy a new car. ;)

The new one, a Highlander. Basically the same thing but bigger with more seat options.
And anyway, as always the girls cram in lots of dressing up parties during the time we are there.

But we really were there to take Ginny's photos and we found these bushes! I nearly died!

And as always, the drive home to Utah provided a burning sunset!

So much fun, and so many beautiful photos!! I am jealous of the swimming!! We've had such a wet and cold / cool spring this year. Can't even think of getting near a pool yet.
