Can you believe it? It's the middle of summer already! I'm having anxiety about it, I want it to stay FOREVER. I hope we made the most of our June as we get into another July.
So here's what we did:
Ikea.
We started going to a weekly library story time. The theme for the summer is super heroes. Hazel loves this more than I thought as well and really gets into the stories and actions!
And they have crafts too!
We also signed June up for a weekly science class for fun, just an hour a week. I hope she's been liking it! You can see the water mess on her clothes from her chemistry experiments haha
And while she does that, Hazel and I explore and go to a park nearby.
I had a casual little good bye party for a friend who was moving out of the neighborhood, and a little birthday cupcakes for another girl.
Hazel would get so mad if this backpack was taken off
Hazel has also become quite adventurous at the park and loves going down even the big slides by herself.
Eating cherries is messy...
I had to get my sinuses checked and I felt like I walked into Frankenstein's lab.
Splash pad, fun times:
Sisters that lounge around in underwear are the best kinds of sisters
We spent a few days going to the Parade of Homes. This is our dream home:
And these are some other favorites from other homes:
We spent a Saturday morning at the water park and it was the best. It wasn't crowded at all!
Treats and naps on the way home
We did some dog sitting one week. Everyone loved our new visitor (except that she pooped ALL over the yard.) Abe, our dog, cried for ten minutes when she left, it was so sad!
Ice cream run
A hot day at the animal farm. Look at Hazel and me! I can't stop laughing about this photo
Some of June's drawings of aliens and frogs
It's been a good year for me and reuniting with old roommates who were my favorites. I actually have a lot of sentimental thoughts about it all but I'll let these pictures tell the stories.
I don't have a photo with Mandy but she was here the other month and today my friend Jessica stopped by! Sarah lives in Chicago, Meredith was in Denver, Jessica in Tennessee and Mandy in Nebraska! So it was exciting to see them all at different times!
We've had some pretty storms lately
Swimming at the rec center with friends!
More time at the library with friends
We go to the pet store A LOT to get crickets for our breaded dragon. The girls don't mind however.
We have found ourselves in friends' backyards playing in little pools
After temple treat- A LEGIT Dole Whip just like the ones at Disneyland! It's a miracle!
Lots of naked afternoons in the back yard.
Curiosity Museum
Went to see the new Pixar movie and we all loved it!
I went to a Paint Nite with Buck's sister Jade and Ben's girl friend Lauren, so basically it was a sister night out. It was my first time but I was proud of how my painting turned out! We had fun and ended up painting our faces a bit too...
Another crazy month for the books!

When I see these monthly photo dumps I am so grateful because I feel like I know more of what went on in your life but I also miss not being there more often. I liked the picture of Hazel kissing you. So sweet.
I haven't tried it, but I thought of this post and had to show it to you: http://detoxinista.com/2013/02/pineapple-whip/
It's so hard to remember my thoughts as I read through your photo dumps but I love them Nevertheless. You and Hazel on the pony...SO funny! In your Dole Whip photo...you and Buck look like models...but I guess you guys always look like that...I love your painting! Also Charlie and I went on a date to see inside out....I loved it but he got pretty emotional at parts.
It looks like you guys are living summer to it's fullest. Way to be! We have been having a great summer too, but we miss hanging out with you. I think this is our last week of story time? We better make another weekly plan so we can at least sort of talk and stay up to date.
I love summer! Wish it would never end!!
By the way, I think you have a "bearded" lizard, not a "breaded" one! "Breaded" makes me think you are going to fry it and eat it...ewwww!!!
