Chrismas Break in Utah

The drive back to Utah was trecherous. What normally takes six hours took us nine. NINE people. But the God's smiled down on me and June was riding in my parents car with my sister Erin so I side stepped all that stress. I told my sister that that was the best Christmas present I got. Probably ever.

One of the many pit stops. And I found this candy that says, "Annabelle's BIG HUNK." haha. Also, please note how savage we look.

One thing I wanted to document from the week with family in Utah was all the juicing we did with my new juicer! It was so exciting and the fresh juice has been amazing!

So, anyway, we did a lot of hanging out with family. Both of our parents were in town so we stressed sometimes about balancing time between the two of them, but I think it all worked out in the end. Mostly we spent time together and we looked like this:

One day we went sledding with Buck's family.

And it was SO. Cold.

Despite these photos, June hated the snow. Mostly I think she hated being bundled up. So she spent most of her time in the yurt, until the time came that we tricked her enough to get her coat on and take her outside.

In the yurt.

June actually "took" this photo of me! haha
After sledding we went out to eat at Park City and June did this:

The best part about this photo is that she was just doing this as she colored. What the photo doesn't show is that she was also singing a little song as she drew. Kill me cute.

Drive home

We had a big relative dinner on my side at the Golden Corral. Who knew they had cotton candy. Classy.

On the first day of the new year, we went to the Desert Star theater and June saw her first play.

She loved it! Wish you could have seen the big round of applause she gave them at curtain call.

And we spent a good amount of time shopping.

The time always goes too fast. And now June and I are here and she is so bored of being with just me.  I'm bored of being with me too. Everyone come back!

Sounds like so much fun! Wish we could've been there too!

Folks. Riding in the car with June really isn't as bad as she makes it sound. She was a trooper! As long as she had an iPhone/iPad! And someone to change apps for her! ;-)
