I finally put June down to sleep in her bassinet.
She makes a noise.
Squeak!
Buck suddenly sits up on elbow facing June.
He then says to her,
"Punker."
"What???..." I ask.
"She punks, shes a punk!"
"Go to bed."
pause.
"I'm gonna get the baby!"
He suddenly lunges towards her-
"No!!" I grab him, mortified he will wake her after all my hard work.
"But shes in the bed!" he defends.
"What?!"
"The bed!"
"What bed?"
"THIS bed!" He says to me with wide eyes
hahaha
"Is mommy laughing at me?" He says in his baby voice, talking to the invisible June.
Hahahaha
"She's not in the bed, shes in the bassinet, I just put her there."
"Shes right there!" he points to an empty spot next to him.
"No. She isn't."
Pause
"Nobody's there?" he points.
"Nobody's there."
pause...
"Dang it."
He turns over to me and lays down
"I need to go to sleep."
"You already are."
Buck Harrison. He has no need to be awake to have a conversation.

Bahaha oh my goodness this is amazing! Poor guy must be exhausted with all the wonderful things going on! At least you know June is definitely on his mind and he is ready to pounce when she needs him :)
Cute...I'd hate to see him on Ambien.
I. Love. It. Haha! You poor sleep deprived parents!! Hope she starts sleeping more for you soon!
funny! good for you posting this not to forget! someday after many years of sleep deprivation you will forget these funny happenings!
Hahaha! Frank does funny things like that sometimes when he's half asleep. :) Welcome to parenthood. I'm sorry to say that sleep deprivation is part of the job. Now that I don't have a baby keeping me up at night, I stay up until midnight waiting for kids to come home. I hate to tell you it never ends! (But it's still worth it.)
Ok. I'm crying!!!! Lol!!
