This Time Last Year

Well. Here it is. All two of you who read this blog this time last year may remember this story. And you may remember that I said that I would post this video soon. Well, by "soon" I meant "a year later."

This is a news clip from Nebraska. (Made the top story that day...) Random things happen to me. This one, however, has made my top ten list (which is impressive.) And it happened on this epic road trip of which I have been cryptically referencing as of late.  

Watch it all. I promise you wont regret it.

(The only thing I regret is that I'm not sure how we will ever top this Valentines Day. Heck, why even try?)

The story, for those who care, is that I went across the country with Buck, (or Butch, depending on who you ask. hahaha.) And on our way we found on the map that there was a place called "Valentine" in Nebraska and that if we left our path, we would get there on Valentines Day. I mean, really, did we even have a choice?

So we stayed at this little Bed and Breakfast in the small town. After finding a small church to go that day we went back to the Inn to witness a wedding that was taking place. When we got there we found some frazzled Inn women because the wedding had been canceled and the news crew was coming. 

They looked at me and said, "Why don't you and him get married?" To this I replied: "No.... BUT we could pretend to get married...."

And next thing I knew I was wearing some woman's mother's wedding dress from the 1940's (not the 1800's as stated in this news clip haha.) And Buck was in his suit and the camera lady showed up, heard our idea, shrugged her shoulders and began rolling the film.  The whole process was amusing and, may I add, I wasn't expecting that clip of me talking to end up being used, if I would have known then maybe I wouldn't be swinging my camera around and talking like a spaz... 

And why the bath tub you ask?

I don't know.
