My Apartment

So. Here's the thing. My friend Mandy and I have a pretty sweet place right now.

Number one reason:
This is my room!
And it's glorious and magical and .... girly... (so never going to make the cut after marriage) but STILL.
(forgive my sloppy bed, I actually don't have a queen blanket yet, this one is a scrawny twin) Anyway, I had plans to further the color in this room and such but seeing as a boy will be living here at the end of the summer, that seemed pointless (seeing how he will already have to compromise and sleep on this delicate bed frame) Black or brown color scheme then?

But back to the point.

Reason number two why my apartment is rad:
This is the view from my window:
Yep. A cemetery. It's very "Emily Dickinson." On a regular basis I watch funerals happen. I have a game where I try to guess who's funeral it is. Clues- age of the crowd, color the crowd is wearing, and the mood- like if people are chatting a bit or if they stand silent, crying. Gives away the age of the person at least. Morbid game, but hey, it's better than suicide poems that came from Emily's surroundings.

And that, my friends, is a little taste of my home. Oh, and for the past 72 hours there has been a tom cat outside my window meowing in heat at who knows what. Make him go away!

I love! The graveyard across the street is very Emily Dickinson/ Anne of the Island...

I hope the bed is not too delicate! ;)
