Lately- March

Oh hello everyone. And good bye March!

To start, some highlights from our walks. I've realized that Rose really is like a puppy and she needs to be taken for a daily walk. We haven't done this every day, but a lot of them we did! Here are a few photos.

Sometimes it's just Rose and me.

 Sometimes a Hazel joins us

Sometimes a Johnny joins us.
And sometimes there's a June too.

The girls and their never ending tricks on the new little trampoline that nana and pops got for Hazel's birthday.

How she poses when she's got lipstick on.

So, um, Buck got a new job and therefore obviously quit his old one. That should also probably be in its own post but life is a blur these days and I'm lucky I'm even documenting anything. SO he's been at his old job six years and they were so kind and threw him a surprise going away party and invited us to come too! It was fun and funny. They had huge projected slide shows of photos of Buck and it made him so uncomfortable haha.

After years of searching for a cooking class for June and her young age I finally found one! And it's been so amazing! She loves it and looks forward to going each week. The menus are: loaded mac and cheese, Irish soda bread, Neapolitan pizza, trick cupcakes, class choice breakfast, easter bunny bread ans spring salad, yakisoba Japanese noodles, strawberry napoleon, Salvadorian pupusas, and then a class choice dessert.
Her trick cupcakes for April Fools day!

Three's a crowd.
But sometimes so is two.

June presenting her power point presentation about Walt Disney at school!

Starting to get outside more and more.

Pretty rainbows!

June lost her two front teeth!

He just zoned out and laid on me and it was cute.

We brought one of the girls' friends with us to a play- this time: Mary Poppins!

At a relief society activity (group of women gather together from the church and neighborhood) we did nails and facials and hair. This was the crazy braid someone gave me.

Buck's monthly winter camping again! This was the photo he sent me this time.  Glad I could appreciate this view from my warm home. ;)

Ikea family trip.

St. Patrick's day balloons turned into a pet rainbow and that followed Hazel around for a day.

Surprise birthday get together for our neighbor!
I've been SO SPOILED here in my new neighborhood with good friends! We've been having weekly get togethers and it's been so fun. The thing that started them was watching the Bachelor (the silliest show) and on the final episode we all dressed up in "cocktail dresses" and drank cider and had roses. We think we are funny.

Our blender broke three years ago and we finally bought a new one. So it's an exciting family affair every time we use it.

Cute Rose trying on some glasses.

Monthly temple date! (trying to remember to take a photo each month this year for funsies.)

We finally wallpapered the guest bathroom! Now to get a frame for the mirror....

My good friend Sonja was in town from Alaska and it was so good to meet up with her and catch up. We went to the butterfly biosphere.

 Johnny keeps busy being cute.

Is it just me or is this leaf trying to become a petal?

A new milestone. June and Hazel were at school so I went to the animal farm with just Rose and Johnny. Kind of feels like I am starting back over in life.

Sometimes I remember to exercise my kids.

But mostly we look like this:

And to end, some pretty views from our home. I'm trying to embrace them all before house take over our view. 😓

I am feeling very excited and happy for spring! But not in my usual desperate ways- but in a calm and prepared for way. I'm rested and I'm ready to wake up from hibernation!

OK so I love the description of Rose being just like a puppy who needs to be taken out for a walk. That is probably a wise thing to do for her. I think she loves to be outside. And I love Junes cupcakes. Very creative of course. And that Braid on your hair is pretty epic. I love it. I already commented on the fun bathroom and that leaf does look like it’s trying to turn into a flower. Kind of weird. And thanks for ending with the beautiful pictures of the lake and mountains. I have seen those in person and will miss that when someone builds and takes away the view.
